60 years ago, this picture was taken and it's still beautiful and inspiring!! It is called "An American Girl in Italy" taken by Ruth Orkin featuring Ninalee Craig. This is a great piece...I absolutely Love balck and white photos as well...they set a certain mood that colour photos can't always capture.

I was testing out the features on the camera...this one was taken using a negative effect. I think it turned out pretty good!

A Year in Photos...

After breaking my first camera during a trip to WI, I decided to treat myself and buy a new one!! (Bigger and Better!)

I enjoy taking pictures. I have always loved art and photography is one of the most interesting! My mom thinks that this is something that I should pursue as a career. Even though I am no where near ready to set up shop, I am thinking about taking classes to learn abit more about this craft.

In the mean time I decided to set up this shop. A year in photos is exactly that. Everyday for a year I will post a photo in hopes to refine my skills and maybe inspire a few people!
